The Emperor’s New Clothes is an adaptation of the traditional fairy tale by Hans Christian Anderson. A vain emperor cares only for the clothing he wears. Seduced by fine fabrics presented by a pair of swindling fashionistas, we follow this hilarious tale of our superficial ruler getting his comeuppance along with all the usual pantomime fun, boo the baddies, cheer the heroes, and laugh loudly at the unfortunate double act!
Directed by long-time Players member and pantomime-lover Marina Coleman-Rivers, The Emperor’s New Clothes is guaranteed to spark joy, tickle your funny bone and provide an evening of great entertainment for the whole family.
