Embrace Film Screening - St Neots

January 19, 2018, 7:45pm - January 19, 2018, 10:00pm

WATCH THE TRAILER HERE: m.youtube.com/watch?v=__2AayArYfs Coming to St Neots in January, Embrace is a life changing social impact documentary that explores the serious issues of body image and body confidence. It's an uplifting, must-see film for everyone, especially women and teenage girls. Buy your tickets here for just £6.90: bit.ly/2ydKpXN and be part of this global movement for positive change. Embrace tells the story of Taryn Brumfitt’s journey from body loather to body lover - an Australian wife and mother who embarks on an international crusade to change the way we think and feel about our bodies. There are interviews with all sorts of strong, amazing women throughout. This powerful documentary uncovers why poor body image has become a global epidemic and what women everywhere can do to have a brighter future. We are hosting this screening of Embrace as part of Embrace: The Union Project which aims to make the Embrace Education Study Guide accessible to every secondary school across the UK for FREE. This resource inspires lifechanging body image conversations in the classroom. Please come and join us to watch the movie, raise awareness and be part of the conversation. There will be an opportunity to discuss the movie in the bar afterwards. We've made the ticket price (£6 + 90p booking fee) as low as we could to make this film accessible to as many people as possible. Any profits we make after the Body Image Movement's Licence Fee will go to Beat: The UK Eating Disorder Charity. The film is 90 minutes in duration and will start at 20:00.
