Anna Crompton

Having not been naturally blessed with many of Doris’s “assets”, Anna has thrown herself into the bawdy, ballsy brokenness of this harsh, dangerously insecure human. Better known in St Neots for running the magic springles-filled Hartbeeps before the pandemic hit, Anna is now a familiar face at the St Neots Farm and Craft Market, running their fortnightly programme of music and entertainment.

Living a joyful life as mum of two, Anna and her family have lived in St Neots for seven years and are very active in their Loves Farm community. Before moving to St Neots Anna worked in education theatre, playing various inanimate objects, concepts, and philosophies for schools and community groups. Since then she has played fairies, heroes, clowns, and royalty and has a soft spot for pantomime, recently performing for St Neots Players as fabulous villain Meleficent in Sleeping Beauty (2021)!

Anna would like to dedicate tonight’s performance to Jo and Kath for revealing vital pieces of the Doris jigsaw, and to Shey for doing the voices!
