Nigel Moorhouse

Nigel joined St Neots Players in 2024 for The Girl on the Train after his sister Kathie, who has performed for both St Neots Players and VAMPS of St Neots, recommended he audition for the role. Nigel has previously been involved in dramatics since university, performing at The University of Leeds Workshop Theatre, whilst co-founding Dereham Theatre Arts Group. His many credits include Beggar’s Opera (Peachum), Four Seasons of Arthur (King Arthur), Welcome Home (Denis) and Cinderella (Ugly Sister), whilst also taking on directing, stage managing, and musical directing roles. After a hiatus for work and children, Nigel took up theatre again in the 2020s and performed in Wilburton Theatre Group’s Dogfight, and Campaign Amateur Theatre Ely’s 9 to 5, and Elf.

Outside of the theatre, Nigel has traveled the world working in GIS, and is putting his Zoology university studies to use running his own birdwatching tour company which specialises in Japan.
