James Walters
James moved to St Neots from the North West with his partner, taking a role at Wyboston Lakes as a Quality Assurance Engineer in the Entertainment Industry which James says is a fancy way of saying video game tester. He enjoys his job as outside of work he spends his free time, and has many memorable stories from, playing video games. Despite this, James has always had an interest in acting as a career and started his journey in high school studies Drama, before going on to do a Performing Arts course at college where he performed scenes from various much loved musicals, including a visit to the National Theatre performing on the Olivier Stage. James joined an amdram group and also spent five years as a scare actor for a Halloween attraction whilst working outside of the industry, and in 2021 the spark to continue persuing acting was reignited when he auditioned for Wigan Little Theatre’s Towards Zero by Agatha Christie. James joined St Neots Players in 2024, having seen a banner for a 2023 production but being unable to audition until Girl on the Train (2024).
James would like to dedicate his performance to his partner Loz, who has put up with him far more than any sane person would, and encouraged him to go for the opportunities that present themselves. He also dedicates to his family who always support him in anything he does, creatively or otherwise.
